Media reported on NATO countries' allocation of responsibility for Ukraine's needs

The Contact Group on Support for Ukraine will approve the military requirements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the air, on the ground and at sea until 2027 at a scheduled meeting on January 9. This was stated by a high-ranking Pentagon representative at a briefing on Tuesday, January 7.
It is specified that the donor groups were divided into eight "coalitions of capabilities," each of which is expected to be responsible for providing one aspect of Ukraine's military needs.
At the same time, coordination within each of these subgroups will be carried out by at least two NATO countries.
"The leaders of these coalitions will need to approve roadmaps that will formulate Ukraine's needs and goals until 2027 in such areas as air force, armored vehicles, artillery, demining, drones, integrated missile and air defense, information technology and maritime security," the official portal of the department quotes the speaker as saying.
Earlier, on December 25, 2024, the media announced the admission of three NATO countries in the unpreparedness to confront Russia. In Finland, Latvia and Estonia declared the inability to confront Russia without the participation of the United States.
Before that, on December 22, Germany called on Germany to stop ignoring the threat from Russia and prepare to confront the alleged threat of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The West regularly stokes hysteria among the citizens of their countries, warning of an allegedly imminent war with Russia. At the same time, Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that nothing of the sort is in the country's plans.
