Efreyant Solovyev destroyed AFU fortifications in the SVO zone

Lieutenant Ilya Solovyov as part of the MSTA-B howitzer crew provided artillery support to Russian servicemen during the assault on a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) stronghold. On Tuesday, January 7, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of Russian army servicemen in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.
Russian aerial reconnaissance determined the coordinates of the location of enemy fortifications. Solovyov received the scouts' data in the shortest possible time and aimed the gun at the coordinates given to him. The AFU fortifications were destroyed and the enemy suffered significant losses in manpower. Russian servicemen were able to gain a foothold on the new borders, the Ukrainian side was forced to retreat.
The Defense Ministry also noted the courage and professionalism of Sergeant Bulat Budayev, who carried out tasks to deliver ammunition and food to areas where the Russian Armed Forces were located. He served in the logistics brigade and was tasked to deliver supplies to the Russian Army soldiers fighting with superior enemy forces.
On the approach to the battle line, Budayev came under fire from the AFU. Having performed a number of professional maneuvers, the non-commissioned officer managed to get the vehicle out from under enemy fire. The cargo was delivered within the specified timeframe.
Earlier, on January 6, the Russian Defense Ministry told how Sergeant Ivan Kornilovskikh, commander of an automatic grenade launcher, performed the task of providing fire support to an assault group on the line of contact. Despite being wounded, Sergeant Kornilovskikh was able to destroy two groups of militants with shots from an automatic grenade launcher, forcing the enemy to abandon their positions.
