Rosreestr on Tuesday, January 7, did not confirm that there was a data leak from the Unified State Register of Real Estate Objects (USRN).
"Rosreestr does not confirm the leak of data from the Unified State Register of Real Estate Objects (USRN). Additional information checks are currently being conducted," the agency said in a statement in its Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, hackers reported that they allegedly gained access to the Rosreestr data of about 1 TB, it contained about 2 billion lines of information. The newest record there is allegedly dated March 10, 2024, reports "Gazeta.Ru".
Before that, on December 18, "Izvestia" got acquainted with the data of the digital risk management company BI.ZONE, from which it follows that the share of attacks on Russian companies with the purpose of espionage has increased by 6%. Often during attacks, hackers also try to disrupt systems, for example, by changing passwords to accounts.
