In the UK, hundreds of workers have joined a lawsuit against McDonald's


More than 700 former and current McDonald's employees in the UK have joined a lawsuit against the fast food restaurant chain for workplace harassment. This was reported by law firm Leigh Day on January 7.
"More than 700 customers aged 19 and under who worked at McDonald's, asked the law firm Leigh Day to file lawsuits in their favor," - stated in a publication on the company's website.
It is noted that at the moment the lawsuits involve more than 450 restaurants of the network. In a conversation with representatives of a specialized group to work with claims McDonald's victims shared cases of racism, harassment, as well as discrimination on the basis of disability.
On the eve of The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that McDonald's decided to abandon the inclusive policy and cancel the target "diversity indicators", which used to operate for employees. It is noted that at the same time the restaurant chain will continue to publish information on diversity indicators in the ranks of employees, as well as continue to support the ideas of inclusion.
