The Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of the AFU "Baba Yaga" drones in Kharkiv region

Servicemen of the "North" troop group have destroyed two heavy drones (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) "Baba Yaga" in Kharkiv Region with the help of FPV drones. The corresponding footage was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 7.

It indicated that the grouping of troops continues to track down combat Ukrainian UAVs and destroy them.

"Calculations of FPV-drones are on round-the-clock duty in the sky in the area of the SSO in Kharkiv region and identify the enemy's attack drones," the ministry said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, the ministry showed how the Russian military destroyed AFU buggies in Kharkiv region. The enemy's technique was spotted from a drone near the settlement. Russian fighters used FPV drone and destroyed the buggy.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
