The deputy head of the Ukrainian Veterans Affairs Ministry, Ruslana Velichko-Trifonyuk, has been dismissed from her post after a scandal involving humiliation of subordinate employees. This was reported on January 7 by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.

"Dismissed Velichko-Trifonyuk Ruslana Vladimirovna from the post of Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine on European integration", - he wrote in Telegram-channel.

It is known that the inspection in the Department organized after the statement on the dismissal of the former military Yevgeny Shibalov. According to him, the reason was regular groundless humiliation from the leadership.

Earlier, on December 7, 2024, the acting mayor of the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv and secretary of the city council, Oleksandr Lomako, announced his resignation because of threats from the military administration. According to him, the city was taken hostage and the condition for the release was the resignation of the official.
