Defense Ministry publishes footage of destruction of AFU buggy in Kharkiv region

Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops have destroyed a buggy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. Images of the combat operation were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 7.

It is specified that the object was detected by the Russian army with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) near a populated area of the region. The military equipment was transporting militants to carry out rotation.

"After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire on the AFU buggy. The detected target was promptly destroyed by the calculation of FPV-drone of the group of troops "North", - stated in the message of the Department.

On the same day it was reported that the calculation of anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) "Strela-10" of the grouping of troops "Dnepr" struck a drone of the AFU. It is noted that this weapon is capable of destroying aerial targets at a range of 800 to 5,000 meters and an altitude of 25 to 3,500 meters.
