- Media reported the creation of atomic clocks capable of "changing the nature of future wars"

Chinese scientists have created an ultra-precise atomic clock NIM-TF3, which could "change the nature of future wars". This was reported by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on December 7.
The clocks are 1.5 meters high and are comparable in size and dimension to a small refrigerator. They can be mounted on a military truck, and even after long trips over difficult and uneven routes, they retain their accuracy.
According to the publication, the potential of the development is huge: it allows radars located thousands of kilometers apart to synchronize to track enemy aircraft, improve electronic warfare and transfer large amounts of data. As the newspaper points out, the creation of such a clock was previously considered impossible, as atomic clocks that achieve such accuracy would have to be placed in a room protected from any environmental influences.
The newspaper emphasizes that such a system gives the Chinese People's Liberation Army a significant advantage in competition with the U.S. Army in the field of electronic warfare, directed energy weapons and unmanned technology.
Earlier, in January last year, China invented the BV100 nuclear battery, which can last up to 50 years without recharging. At the same time, engineers assure that the device is safe for people: it uses nickel and diamond semiconductors.
