The Defense Ministry published footage of the work of servicemen of repair and recovery units

On January 7, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of servicemen working in the repair and recovery unit of the general army of the Zapad group of forces.

In the repair and recovery units of the all-military army of the Zapad group of forces, military repair specialists are engaged in round-the-clock repair of tracked and wheeled combat vehicles.

In addition to repairing breakdowns, servicemen install dynamic and anti-defense kits on military equipment. Every day dozens of military equipment units are returned to full operational readiness.

According to the repairers, they do not experience any shortage of spare parts and specialized tools. The necessary volume is always fixed in the warehouses. There is also constant interaction with representatives of the factories that manufacture military equipment.

For continuous repair and restoration of tanks, heavy tracked and other military equipment delivered from the front line, the specialists deployed repair and restoration points of equipment in the shortest possible time.

"After each departure, after each battle we already refine, somewhere we strengthen. In this way we make the tank fully protected," said the welder.

Special attention was paid by the specialists to the issues of maintenance and repair of armament and military equipment storage troops operating at a considerable distance from the points of temporary deployment and dislocation.

"Our fighters have their own home behind them, literally."

Earlier, on January 1, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of the destruction of an armored fighting vehicle with a live force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv region. The detected target was successfully eliminated by a direct hit from an FPV drone.
