UFC president Dana White has joined Meta's board of directors

UFC President and close associate of U .S. President-elect Donald Trump Dana White joined the board of directors of Meta Corporation (recognized in Russia as extremist and banned). This was announced by the head of the company Mark Zuckerberg on January 6.
"Dana is the president and CEO of the UFC, and he has turned it into one of the most valuable, fastest-growing and popular sports businesses in the world. I admire him as an entrepreneur and his ability to build such a beloved brand," he wrote on his Facebook page (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
In addition, Zuckerberg announced that Italian businessman John Elkann and technology investor Charlie Songhurst will also join Meta's board of directors.
Earlier, on November 14, the European Commission (EC) fined the American corporation Meta almost €800 million for violating competition rules in advertising in its owned social network Facebook. It was reported that the European Commission began proceedings on the possible violation of EU antitrust laws by the corporation back in June 2021.
