Experts named the most common "options" in rental apartments in Russia

One of the most important factors in the attractiveness of a rented apartment is the availability of large-sized household appliances and the Internet, which are necessary for a comfortable life. On January 6, "Cian.Analytica" told Izvestia what "options" are most often found in rental apartments in cities with a million inhabitants of the Russian Federation, how the situation differs between locations and what changes have occurred in the market in recent years.

Thus, a refrigerator is present in 95-99% of apartments in cities with one million inhabitants, and a washing machine - in 89-98%. Internet availability is also high in all cities, but here the gap between locations is more noticeable - if in Ufa 97% of rented apartments have internet, in Krasnodar - only 83%.

There is even more variation between the cities in terms of the number of apartments with TV sets - from 53% in Perm to 86% in Kazan. In addition to Kazan, the most common places to have a TV set are Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don.

The most interesting situation is with the presence of air conditioning. The share of rental apartments with air conditioner varies from 9% in Krasnoyarsk to 86-87% in Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and Volgograd. Dishwashers are less common in rental apartments than other appliances. Dishwashers are most often found in the largest cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg (from 37% to 52% of apartments), while in Chelyabinsk, Samara, Omsk and Krasnoyarsk they are present in only 11-12% of apartments.

The city with the most household appliances in rented apartments is expected to be Moscow, but Perm has one of the lowest rates of apartments with the necessary "options".

"The availability of large-sized household appliances necessary for a comfortable life in a rented apartment is especially important for tenants from other cities and regions, who have no opportunity to bring them with them. An apartment that is ready for occupancy will attract more attention than one that still has to be organized. If the presence of refrigerator and washing machine has become commonplace for rental apartments, the options with air conditioner and dishwasher are not so common in most cities", - added the expert of "Cian.Analytica" Elena Bobrovskaya (Lapshina).
