Georgia reports detention of Russians who attacked a couple

Georgian police officers detained two men aged 32 and 38 who attacked a Russian couple. This was reported by the Georgian TV channel Mtavari on January 6.

"The investigation found that on January 5 this year the figures robbed two foreign nationals heading from Zugdidi to Mestia, stole their cell phones," - stated in the material.

It is specified that the defendants shot the Russian. Subsequently, the body of the deceased was found in the river Nakra.

On the search for armed robbers who attacked the Russians, the TV channel Mtavari reported earlier in the day. Then it was specified that the couple came to Georgia on vacation. The attackers stopped their car and tried to sexually assault the woman, as well as wounded her husband and drove away in their car. The Russian woman managed to save herself.
