Ukrainian media reported explosions in Kiev-controlled Kherson

Explosions have been heard in the Kiev-controlled city of Kherson. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication Public in its Telegram channel on 6 January.

No details of what happened were given. The online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine indicates that an air alert has been declared on the territory of Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on this information.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian media reported explosions in the city of Cherkasy and its surroundings. According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the air alert was announced in Zaporizhzhya, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Kiev, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Sumy regions.

The day before, on January 5, explosions were reported in Mykolaiv.
