A cab driver hit two people at a crosswalk in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the city prosecutor's office in its Telegram channel on January 6. In addition, the video of the accident appeared at the disposal of "Izvestia".

The prosecutor's office specified that the accident occurred on Universitetskaya Embankment on Vasilievsky Island. The driver of the cab did not have time to brake before the crosswalk and hit two people. The footage shows how one of the victims flew away for several meters, and the second after the impact stood up and ran to the car.

At the moment, the incident is under control in the Prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg, an investigation into the incident is being conducted. It is known that the cab driver already has five offenses for failure to comply with traffic rules.

According to the source of "Izvestia", a 15-year-old girl, injured in the accident, is in a condition of average severity.

Earlier, on January 2, a minor pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident in Rybinsk. The driver of an Opel car failed to cope with the control and hit a pedestrian. The boy was taken to hospital. The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
