"Rostec" told about the capabilities of BMPT "Terminator"

The Terminator tank support vehicle can replace an entire motorized rifle squad in an attack due to its armament complex. This was announced by Rostec in its Telegram channel on January 6.

It is reported that the BMPT can withstand multiple blows of enemy attacks without harming the crew and its main systems.

"The Terminator is armed with two 30mm automatic cannons, guided missiles, machine guns and automatic grenade launchers, allowing it to engage multiple targets simultaneously. <...> In certain situations, the BMPT can replace in an attack a motorized rifle squad, which includes an infantry fighting vehicle BMP-2M, riflemen, machine gunner and grenade launchers," the report says.

It is specified that BMPT "Terminator" has no analogues in Western countries, as well as the heavy flamethrower system "Solntsepek".

Earlier, on December 18, Rostec developed a modern wearable emergency supply for pilots' survival in emergency circumstances. It was reported that the kit will include various first aid supplies, signaling equipment, food, a survival kit and a combat kit.

Earlier, on November 3, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the combat work of the Solntsepek calculation of the unit of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops of the Southern grouping of troops in the defeat of the facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of the special military operation. After receiving the coordinates of the temporary deployment point of one of the AFU motorized rifle brigades, the TOC crew marched to the firing position.
