Around 20 people injured in a road accident near Hamburg due to a manure truck

A massive accident occurred near Hamburg due to a burst tire on a truck carrying manure, resulting in 18 people injured. This was reported on Monday, January 6, by the publication Bild.

It is specified that the accident occurred in the early morning on Monday. After a tire burst, a 40-ton truck skidded: it collided with several cars and crashed into a bridge support. As a result, most of the cargo ended up on the roadway.

"According to police, seven other cars were damaged by tire parts and cow manure on the road. According to the latest information, 18 people were slightly injured," the publication writes.

The A1 highway is currently closed in both directions between the Barsbüttel and Stapelfeld junctions. During rush hour there are significant disruptions in traffic.

Earlier, on December 20, it was reported that a car collided with a crowd at a Christmas fair in the city of Magdeburg in Germany. As a result, according to the latest data, six people were killed and about 300 people were injured.
