The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an AFU tank in the Kursk border area with the help of FPV drones

Russian Armed Forces (AF) servicemen using FPV drones have destroyed a Ukrainian T-72 tank in the border area of Kursk Region. The Russian Defense Ministry publishes footage of the combat operation on January 6.

Military groups of troops "North" with the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detected a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near one of the settlements of the region's border area.

After analyzing the intelligence received, the servicemen decided to fire on the vehicle. As a result of accurate hits, the Ukrainian tank was eliminated.

Earlier in the day, the Russian army foiled an attempt by the AFU to launch a counterattack in the direction of the village of Bolshoye Soldatskoye in the border area of the Kursk region. It is specified that the Ukrainian militants were defeated by fire, their main forces were liquidated on the approaches to the farm Berdin.

On the eve of the Russian Defense Ministry shared footage of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems, which continue to carry round-the-clock combat duty over the positions of the Russian military in the Kursk border area. The complex is equipped with 12 anti-aircraft missiles, two double-barreled 30-millimeter cannons with 1,400 rounds of ammunition.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory are being liquidated.
