Criminal case opened over beating of gymnasts by coach in Vladimir

A criminal case was opened over the fact of cruel treatment of the rhythmic gymnastics coach to the pupils of the sports school of Olympic reserve (SSOR) № 5. This was reported by lawyer Vladislav Lunkov on January 6.

"A criminal case has been initiated. The procedural term is two months," he told TASS.

According to the lawyer, most likely, the term of the criminal case investigation will be extended.

The incident became of interest on January 4 after a resident of Vladimir published an appeal in social networks, where she told about the cruelty of the coach of the gymnastics section. The man regularly insulted children, as well as used violence against them, including with the use of sports equipment. The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Vladimir region organized a procedural check on this fact.
