Armed robbers attacked a married couple from Russia in Georgia

Armed robbers who attacked a couple of tourists from Russia are being sought in Georgia. This was reported by Mtavari TV company on January 6.

It is reported that the couple arrived in the country on vacation and traveled around the country by car.

It is specified that the attackers managed to stop the car of the tourists. They tried to sexually assault the woman and forced the spouse to get out of the car, then they wounded him with firearms. The woman managed to escape, but the man was taken away by the bandits in their auto.

At the moment, the whereabouts and state of health of the spouse remain unknown.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia has launched an investigation into the robbery and illegal handling of weapons. A criminal case has been opened.

Earlier, on January 2, in Thailand, a tourist bus carrying Russian tourists suddenly lost control, overcorrected and crashed into the back of a passenger car. It was reported that the accident occurred when the bus was returning from a one-day excursion. According to the company, the bus was carrying 39 tourists, a guide and a driver.
