Air defense forces destroyed four Ukrainian UAVs over Belgorod and Kursk regions

Air defense forces have destroyed four drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territories of Kursk and Belgorod regions. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 6.

"Two UAVs each were shot down over the territories of Belgorod and Kursk regions," the ministry's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down within two hours - from 11:00 to 13:00 Moscow time.

Earlier in the day, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that a man was injured as a result of an attack by an AFU drone on a moving car. He was transported to a medical facility with a mine blast injury and a dislocated shoulder.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
