A resident of Krasnogorovka on a bicycle with a white bag was able to cross a minefield. This was reported by RT TV channel on January 6.

"The man took a desperate step in fact - he broke through their (AFU. - Ed.) positions," said RT military correspondent Andrei Filatov.

The Russian military reportedly saw the man from the drone and gave a command not to shoot. The civilian was safely escorted to shelter.

The events took place four months before the liberation of Krasnogorovka.

Earlier, on December 19, residents of liberated Krasnogorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) told about the atrocities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) against civilians.

The Russian Armed Forces (AFU) liberated the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Grigorovka, Galitsynovka and Vodyanoye in the Donetsk People's Republic on September 10. At the same time, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov sent congratulatory telegrams to the motorized rifle brigades for the liberation of Krasnogorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken amid the aggravation of the situation in the region.
