Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. Over the past 24 hours, the units of the "West" group of forces improved their position along the front line and defeated the manpower and equipment of three brigades of the AFU in the areas of several settlements in Kharkiv region and the DNR. The enemy lost more than 500 people, as well as weapons and equipment.
Also in the last 24 hours, the AFU liberated two settlements: Kurakhovo and Dachenskoye in the DNR.
The units of the "Vostok" group of troops advanced deep into the enemy's defense, defeated the formations of the AFU mechanized brigade and two brigades of the thero-defense in the areas of the settlements of Bogatyr, Novy Komar, Neskuchne in the Donetsk People's Republic and Temirovka in the Zaporizhzhya region. The losses of the AFU amounted to up to 170 servicemen, as well as equipment and transport.
The Russian army also launched a group strike on the infrastructure of military airfields, weapons depots, places of storage, preparation and launch of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as accumulations of manpower and equipment of the AFU armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 153 areas.
Air defense means shot down a Hammer guided aerial bomb, 12 HIMARS shells and 115 UAVs.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 39,568 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,258 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,507 multiple rocket launchers, 20,239 field artillery and mortars, and 29,919 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
