Capitol storming 'shaman' calls Trump presidency a turning point

Donald Trump's presidency will be a turning point in the history of the United States and could lead the country to both prosperity and extinction. Jake Angeli, an American known as a "shaman" and participant in the storming of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., said on January 6.

"The Trump administration is actually kind of a turning point in history. We can go to ascension and positivity, or we can go to extinction and negativity," Angeli told RIA Novosti.

He noted that the future of the United States depends on the administration of President-elect Donald Trump.

On January 5, US President Joe Biden said that the storming of the Capitol happened because of the appeals and false statements of his predecessor Donald Trump. Biden emphasized that the presidential election in 2020 was won by him and Trump lost.

On January 6, 2021, supporters of President Trump, dissatisfied with the results of the 2020 U.S. presidential election and believing that its outcome was rigged, rioted on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The protesters attempted to take over the Capitol building and stormed inside. As a result, the building was vandalized, five people were killed, including a police officer, and several dozen were injured and arrested.

On December 19, 2022, Trump said that holding him accountable for storming the Capitol would indicate an attempt to exclude him from running again. According to the former president, making similar claims had previously failed. Trump himself, amid these accusations, claimed to have immunity.

The election of the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. The US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, won. He promised that his rule of the country will be a golden era in the history of the United States. Trump's inauguration will take place on January 20, 2025.
