Death toll in Magdeburg terrorist attack rises to six


In the city of Magdeburg in Germany, a car drove into a crowd of visitors to a Christmas fair. As a result of the incident, another woman died in hospital. Thus, the total number of dead reached six. The newspaper Der Tagesspiegel reported on January 6.
"A 52-year-old woman died of her injuries in hospital, a spokesman for the Naumburg prosecutor's office told the German press agency. She died as a result of the attack," the publication stated.
In total, about 300 people were injured in the terrorist attack.
