Degtyarev Plant filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Defense for more than 100 million rubles

The Degtyarev Weapons Plant has filed a new lawsuit against the Russian Ministry of Defense for over 100 million rubles. This is stated in the case materials, which were reviewed by Izvestia on January 6.

The enterprise, engaged in the production of machine guns and other small arms, requested to recover 100,569,849 rubles. 71 kopecks. The plant sent a statement of claim as early as November 2, its reason is still unknown.

"The court determined: to accept the statement of claim, received by the court on 02.11.2024, and to initiate proceedings on the case <...> to appoint an interview with the parties and a preliminary court hearing on 10.02.2025", - stated in the document of the Arbitration Court of Moscow.

Earlier, on June 12, 2024, it was reported that the Degtyarev plant is going to recover over 2 million rubles from the company of Maxim Galkin's brother Dmitry Galkin (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent). The latter is a co-founder of OOO "Weapons Workshops", from which the plant intends to recover the money. The details of the claim against the enterprise were not specified.
