In Belgorod region man injured after AFU drone attack on auto
A Ukrainian drone attacked a moving car in the Belgorod Region. The man inside was injured. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 6.
"The victim with a mine blast injury and dislocation of the shoulder by hitchhiking was taken to the Oktyabrskaya district hospital. After providing the necessary medical care <...> he will be taken to the city hospital № 2 of Belgorod," he wrote.
It is noted that the incident occurred on a section of the highway Krasny Oktyabr - Chaiki.
Earlier on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces destroyed 12 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Russian regions during the night. It was specified that seven UAVs were shot down over the Kursk region, two each over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions and one over the Republic of Crimea.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories amid the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
