A driver beat up a pensioner in Vladivostok
The driver of a passenger car in Vladivostok beat up a pensioner, the identity of the attacker was established by video footage on the Web. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) in Primorsky Krai in Telegram on January 6.
Law enforcers have studied the video. A criminal case under paragraph "a" of part 1 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism") was initiated on the fact of the incident. The identity of the attacker was established. He turned out to be a 35-year-old local resident.
"The investigator of the ICR made a decision on the need to elect a measure of restraint in the form of detention. The corresponding petition will be sent to the court", - added in the message.
The investigation is under control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
Earlier, on January 4, it was reported that in St. Petersburg, a man in the entryway beat his 86-year-old mother, who survived the blockade. It was noted that the woman was hospitalized with injuries and chest bruises in the hospital. The man is detained.
