The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of another UAV over the region

Russian air defense forces have eliminated another drone over the territory of Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 6.

"An aircraft-type UAV was detected and destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region by air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz specified that there were no casualties and destruction. Operational services are working at the site.

Earlier in the day Bogomaz also reported on the destruction of a drone over the Bryansk region. According to him, there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the attack.

Prior to that, on January 5, the Russian Defense Ministry announced 11 downed Ukrainian UAVs over two Russian regions. It was specified that nine drones were eliminated over the Belgorod region and two more over the Kursk region. The attacks were foiled between 18:00 and 21:00 Moscow time.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
