The creators of "Brutalist" and "Conclave" won Golden Globes

"The Brutalist" director Brady Corbett and "Conclave" creator Peter Strahan won the Golden Globe Awards. The awards ceremony is being broadcast by CBS.

Corbet received the award for best director, Strogan - for best screenplay.

In addition, the winner of the award for best actor in a dramatic film was Adrien Brody. He played Hungarian architect Laszlo Toth in "Brutalist."

The award for best soundtrack went to the movie "The Contenders", and for best animated film - "Flow".

In turn, the drama "Shogun" about feudal Japan won the Golden Globe for Best Drama Series. Actor Hiroyuki Sanada, who played the character Yoshi Toranaga in it, won the award for Best Actor in a TV series.

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards ceremony takes place on January 5 in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the day, French director Jacques Audiard's musical "Emilia Perez" won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. In addition, Kieran Culkin, who played in the comedy "True Grief," won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor. The award in this category was also claimed by Russian actor Yura Borisov for his role in the movie "Anora".
