Ukrainian media report explosions in Cherkassy

Explosions have been heard in the Ukrainian city of Cherkasy amid an air alert. This was reported by the Ukrainian TV channel "Public" on January 6.

"In Cherkassy and in the vicinity of the city heard the sounds of explosions," - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel.

According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the air alert was announced in Zaporizhzhya, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Kiev, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Sumy regions.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

The day before, on January 5, it was reported about explosions in the city of Nikolaev.

It also became known that there was an explosion in the city of Pavlograd in Dnepropetrovsk region.
