Two people injured in house explosion on Kyrgyz border


As a result of an explosion of an unidentified explosive object in a house in the village of Arka-2 on the Kyrgyz border, two people were injured. This was reported in the press service of the border service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan on January 5.
"In the village of Arka-2 of Leilek district of Batken region on January 5, 2025 there was an explosion in a house. Two members of the same family were injured," - stated in the message of the press service in the Telegram-channel.
It is specified that the owner of the house and her 12-year-old daughter were injured. They were sent to the local department of the hospital, where they received all the necessary medical care.
The press service added that the object found by the woman among the old building materials exploded. Specialists are working on the site, the circumstances of the incident are being established.
