A teenager was injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) dropping an explosive object on Horlivka. This was reported on January 5 by the representation of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC).
"As a result of dropping an explosive object from a UAV at a public transportation stop, a teenager born in 2007 was injured," the report said in the Telegram channel.
In addition, it is noted that as a result of Ukrainian shelling, the village of Lenin mine was de-energized, an apartment building on Lenin Avenue was damaged, and a fire broke out in an apartment building on Bolotnikova Street.
Earlier, on January 4, four civilians were injured when explosive objects were dropped from Ukrainian drones in two settlements of Horlivka.
On that day, Gorlovka mayor Ivan Prikhodko reported the shelling of the Komsomolets residential area by Ukrainian armed formations (VFU), which resulted in the injury of 10 civilians. He also specified that "bell-type" submunitions were found at the site of the shelling.
As local residents told Izvestia, the cassettes fell under the store, people were wounded, there was a lot of blood. The victims were wounded of varying degrees of severity.
Later the same day, the AFU attacked Gorlovka again. A Ukrainian drone hit a civilian car. The car burned out completely.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
