The AFU hit a hospital and infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhya region


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked a hospital and infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the Deputy Governor of the region on internal policy Anton Titsky on January 5.
"This morning the enemy attacked by drone the building of Vasilievsky city hospital," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Titsky noted that later a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down over an electrical substation in the same area.
It is specified that the AFU also hit Energodar near the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), Tokmak and the village of Dneprovka.
"In all cases, there are no casualties and victims," the deputy governor emphasized.
Earlier in the day, the AFU attacked with one UAV the training center of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. As a result, no one was injured, also there is no destruction.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that during the night of January 5, Russian air defense forces destroyed 61 AFU drones over five regions of Russia.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories amid the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
