In Germany, unknown persons desecrated a Jewish memorial

In Germany, unknown persons put a pig's head to the monument to the Jewish residents of the town of Apolda in Turginia - Prager's House. This was reported on January 5 in the official Telegram channel "Bild in Russian" (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation).

"The house in the past was the household building of a merchant (1888-1944). The entire Prager family was victimized by the Nazis," the publication noted.

According to Bild, the police considered the behavior of the intruders as an act of hate speech.

The authorities of Thuringia also emphasized the inadmissibility of desecration of the Jewish memorial.

Earlier, last October, the U.S. Department of Transportation fined German airline Lufthansa $4 million for insulting Jews. The carrier allegedly refused to provide its services to 128 passengers, some of whom were dressed in traditional Jewish clothing, when they landed during a connecting flight from New York to Budapest.
