A deputy in Dalnegorsk claimed his account was hacked by fraudsters

Chairman of the Duma of Dalnegorsk city district in Primorsky Krai Nikita Kharlamov said that fraudsters who hacked his account sent insulting messages to users. On January 5, he said in his Telegram channel.
"With the help of a malicious link was hacked my personal account! From January 2 to January 3, mass mailings with insulting content took place on my behalf," the MP wrote.
Kharlamov noted that materials from his personal correspondence "got into the Network", and urged users to be vigilant.
Earlier, on January 3, the Administration_Dalnegorsk Telegram channel published a post of the Primorsky Krai Prosecutor's Office, where it was reported about the department's inspections of the content of household waste collection sites. In the comments to the publication, an account with the name "Nikita Yurievich Kharlamov" posted a video with the caption "commenters."
Zecurion CEO and cybersecurity expert Alexei Raevsky said on December 17 that fraudsters, having gained access to a Telegram account, can demand money from the owner to return it or spread fake information among subscribers in the messenger.
