The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an AFU pickup truck using an FPV drone in Kharkiv region

An FPV drone of the Russian Armed Forces Group North has destroyed a pickup truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. The corresponding footage of objective control was published by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the pickup truck transporting Ukrainian fighters for rotation was detected near one of the settlements in Kharkiv region with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

"After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire on the AFU pickup truck. The detected target was promptly destroyed by the FPV drone's calculation <...>. The means of objective control recorded a direct hit," the defense ministry said in a statement.

"A sniper's main weapon is not the rifle, but the fear he sows."

Earlier, on January 3, servicemen of the "North" group of forces destroyed armored vehicles and AFU's manpower with the help of FPV-drones in Kharkiv region. As a result of a direct hit by the drones, the rotation of enemy personnel was disrupted.

The day before, a heavy hexacopter of the enemy "Baba Yaga" was destroyed in Kharkiv region. Then the Ministry of Defense reported that the calculations of FPV-drones are in the sky on round-the-clock duty.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
