Five children died in a fire in the Abkhazian village of Papynirkhua. This was reported by the head of the district administration Konstantin Pilia on January 5.

"In the village of Papynirkhua of the Gali district a private house of the Cholaria family caught fire, where there was a grandmother and five grandchildren. The children could not be saved," Apsnypress agency's Telegram channel quoted him as saying.
