China has increased beer supplies to Russia by 1.6 times in 10 months of 2024, taking the third place among exporters of the beverage by volume. This was reported by RIA Novosti on January 5 with reference to the data of the national statistical services.

In the period from January to October 2024, China increased the volume of beer exports to Russia, delivering 29.8 thousand tons of beer.

It is noted that the first place of the largest suppliers of beer to Russia remains Germany (105.3 thousand tons), despite the decrease in deliveries by 24% compared to last year. The second place is occupied by the Czech Republic (33.1 thousand tons), increasing exports to Russia by 27%.

Earlier, on December 19, it was reported that the Czech Republic increased beer supplies to Russia in October almost twice - up to € 4 million. This figure became the maximum since August 2020. As for other countries, they reduced sales. Thus, Germany reduced beer supplies by 18% in annual terms - to €6 million. Imports of the alcoholic beverage from Latvia decreased by 12% - to €3.5 million, and the supply of Lithuanian beer decreased by 41% - to €2.6 million.
