- Pushkov called the outrage of liberals in Europe an admission of the failure of their policies

Failures in the economies of Austria, France, Great Britain and Germany have caused the failure of the policies of liberal parties in Europe, and have also led to an increase in the popularity of right-wing movements. This was reported on January 5 by the head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy Alexei Pushkov.
The senator noted that liberals' complaints about the rise of right-wing populism represent an indirect admission of failures in the conduct of politics.
"Liberal parties in Europe, whether leftist or centrist, have long been digging their own grave with inadequate responses to the challenges of the new times," Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the failures of liberals in the economy, energy, social sphere and migration policy become the reason for the growth of public support for right-conservative movements, "Gazeta.Ru" notes.
Earlier, on December 22, Pushkov said that the "anti-Trump sentiment" of liberal Europe is becoming a serious problem for US President-elect Donald Trump. In his opinion, if the American leader-elect does not solve this problem and does not "harass this public," it will be a manifestation of weakness of the future head of the White House.
