The first winners of the "New Year's Billion" - participants from Moscow and the region who won 1 million rubles each - have applied to the lottery center "Stoloto". This was reported in the press service of the distributor of all-Russian state lotteries.
The first for the winnings in the lottery center turned to the native of Novosibirsk Ksenia Lushina, who has been living in the Moscow region for the last three years. "I have never won anything. I bought a ticket, you could say, "just in case", for the company of acquaintances. When I saw a million, my first thought was: "No, it can't be", but in the end - it can!" - shared the winner.
Artem Shcherbakov, a native of Vladivostok, also came to register his winnings. Several years ago he moved to Moscow with his family. For them, participation in the New Year lottery is a family tradition; his father gave the tickets to Artem.
On January 1, the festive draw of the "Russian Lotto" - "New Year's Billion" took place. According to the results of the draw, almost 12 million tickets were won. In total, about 3.7 billion rubles were drawn. The main prize of 1 billion rubles was won by one participant, another 90 people received 1 million rubles each.
Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia are state lotteries, their organizers are the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, and they are conducted under the state supervision of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. State lotteries distributed by Stoloto are a significant source of replenishment of budgets of different levels of the Russian Federation in order to finance socially important objects and activities, including activities for the development of physical culture and sports, high-performance sports and the system of training the sports reserve, thus making a commensurate contribution to improving the quality of life of Russians.
