As a result of an emergency power outage at a substation in the Krasnodar region, the city of Apsheronsk, Kuban rural and Neftegorsk urban settlements remain without light. About it on January 5 reports the operational headquarters for the region.

"The preliminary cause of the accident - a short circuit, the terms of elimination are specified," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the operative headquarters.

Currently, preparations are being made to install backup power sources - generators. Five emergency brigades of JSC "RossetiKuban" Adygeya networks are involved in the repair work.

Before that, on December 4 last year, there was a technical failure at the steam pipeline of the Blagoveshchenskaya CHPP in the Amur Region, as a result of which power consumption in the region had to be partially restricted. As reported by Far East Generation Company (FEGC), to disconnect the damaged section of the steam pipeline it was necessary to shut down all operating boiler units and turbine units of the plant. After that, the employees started up the main equipment. Until the failure was eliminated, Blagoveshchensk heating networks operated at reduced parameters.
