It became known about the seizure of property worth 500 million rubles from an ex-MED official

A court has seized the property of Igor Khranovsky, former director of the Department for Social and Economic Development of the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) of the Ministry of Economic Development, worth about 500 million rubles. This was reported by TASS on January 5, citing a source in law enforcement agencies.

"The total value of the property acquired by Khranovsky on unconfirmed income and in connection with this appealed to the state income is estimated at about 500 million rubles," the agency source pointed out.

It is specified that cash in different currencies, seven luxury cars and real estate were seized from Hranovsky. A land plot of 2.8 thousand square meters and a cottage of 674.2 square meters in the Moscow region, as well as three non-residential premises in Moscow with a total area of over 366 square meters were returned to the state.

Khranovsky was detained by FSB officers on March 21, 2024. He had been the director of the Department of the North Caucasus Federal District of the Ministry of Economic Development since 2021. Prior to that, Khranovsky was Director of the Department of Strategic and Investment Development.
