Expert names the signs of a virus on your phone or computer

Slowdown of a computer or phone, as well as unknown programs found, may indicate the presence of a virus on the device. Ruslan Permyakov, Deputy Director of the NTI Competence Center "Trusted Interaction Technologies" based at Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, told about it on January 5.

He noted that it is necessary to note any changes in the work of your gadget, including slow work and unknown programs that have appeared, and in case of suspicion of infection of the system to contact a specialist. According to Permyakov, if you find any virus, you should try to check on your own whether the antivirus on your device has been updated to its latest version, and then run it to check the system.

"Make sure you have all the latest system and app updates installed on your device. If you doubt your actions or suspect a data leak, it is better to consult a cybersecurity specialist," the expert recommended in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
