The governor of the Belgorod region reported a UAV attack on three settlements

Ukrainian drones have attacked three settlements in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 5.

"The AFU with the help of drones hit three more settlements in our region. Preliminarily, there are no casualties <...> Information about the consequences is being clarified. Operational services are working on the ground," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Gladkov pointed out that in the town of Graivoron the glazing of a building was damaged as a result of a drone dropped explosive device, and in the village of Gora Podol the windows in an apartment were broken.

In the village of Lower Berezovo, two cars caught fire, and two more cars were damaged. In addition, the fire broke out in an annex to a house, and windows were broken in three private houses.

Earlier in the day, the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar , reported the destruction of 37 AFU drones. Slyusar specified that no one was injured as a result of the attack. Before that, he reported on the destruction of AFU UAVs in Millerovsky and Tarasovsky districts of Rostov region. He specified that no one was injured in the attack.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
