Cars and residential houses were damaged after the fall of drone debris in Taganrog and Novobessergenovka village. This was reported by the interim head of the region Yuri Slyusar on January 5.

"Due to the fall of UAV debris in Taganrog and the village of Novobessergenovka of Neklinovsky district, the property of citizens was damaged: windows were broken, the roof and walls of residential houses were cut, cars were also damaged," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Slyusar specified that the emergency services received reports from residents of four households. There are no casualties and fires as a result of falling debris, the damage caused is being clarified.

Earlier in the day, Slyusar reported the destruction of the AFU UAV. He specified that no one was injured in the attack. Servicemen continue to repel the attack.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
