Two people died and two were injured in a fire in the Udmurt village of Yagan. This was reported on January 4 in the GU of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Udmurt Republic.
"In the village of Yagan, Malopurginsky district, a wooden two-story six-apartment barrack-type house burned down. According to preliminary data, on the second floor lived a family: the owners of the house - husband and wife, their daughter with her husband and two-month-old baby," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel of the department.
As specified by the head of the inquest body of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Andrei Danilov, an electric oil radiator caught fire in the entryway. Due to the fact that the evacuation routes were cut off, a mother with a child, her husband and father jumped from the window of the second floor. The girl was injured and is in hospital, her father - a leg injury. The girl's 72-year-old mother remained in the apartment.
"Unfortunately, she died. In the neighboring apartment, a man received burns, on the way to the hospital died," Danilov pointed out.
In the elimination of the fire involved 54 specialists and 21 units of equipment, the area of the fire amounted to 204 square meters. m. The cause of the incident is being investigated by investigating authorities and experts.
Earlier in the day, two people died as a result of a fire in one of the residential houses in the village of Novaya Razvodnaya in the Irkutsk region. At the scene worked 19 specialists and four units of equipment. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that the preliminary cause of the fire was a short circuit.
