Izvestiya correspondent Alexander Martemyanov was killed when a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) drone hit his car on the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway, the publication reported on January 4.

A civilian car carrying the journalist was attacked by a Ukrainian drone.

Martemyanov died of his wounds.
