Media reported nearly 20 UAVs over the Danish port of Kåge

About 20 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been spotted over the port of Kege, southwest of Copenhagen, police have launched an investigation. The Associated Press reported on Jan. 4.
"The regional police <...> said in a statement that when its officers arrived on the scene on Friday evening, they saw four large drones over the Kege wharf," the material said.
It is specified that the police were called to the scene by an eyewitness who claimed to have seen about 20 drones, which then fled at high speed.
At the moment, the police establish the exact number of drones and their owners.
Last October, it was reported that a group of drones were spotted over two US military bases in 2023, but the Pentagon did not comment on the situation. The WSJ publication specified that the drones appeared over Langley Air Force Base and Norfolk Naval Base. These facilities are strategically important: for example, Langley is the headquarters of the CIA. Despite this, the U.S. Army is not authorized to shoot down UAVs without a direct threat, even if they are conducting aerial surveillance. According to eyewitness reports, the length of the formation of drones reached 6 meters, they flew at a speed of about 160 km/h, some of them were faintly glowing.
