In Poland, a man ran over a Ukrainian citizen and then kicked her in the back. This was reported by the UNIAN news agency on 4 January with reference to the Polish media.

According to their information, the incident occurred in late December in a parking lot in the center of Warsaw.

"Between the woman and the driver got into an altercation after the man ran over the Ukrainian woman, who was on the parking space," - noted in the Telegram-channel of the Ukrainian edition.

As specified "Gazeta.Ru", the Ukrainian woman sprayed in the face of the Pole the contents of pepper spray. Then the man kicked the woman in the back so hard that she lost her balance.

The Ukrainian agency drew attention to the fact that the Polish police called the situation "an ordinary conflict in a parking lot."

Earlier, on December 29, 2024, Polish MP Witold Tumanowicz said that the Ukrainian military should be banned from entering the territory of Poland after the end of the conflict. According to the politician, Warsaw needs to make sure that no Polish soldiers take part in the fighting and that Ukrainian soldiers do not come to the country after the ceasefire. In his opinion, people who have undergone hostilities can become a threat to the Republic.

Before that, on December 16, the Ukrainian Pravda newspaper, citing the results of a social survey, reported that the level of sympathy of Ukrainians for Poles has fallen compared to 2022. It was specified that in 2024, 41% of Ukrainian respondents had a good attitude to Poland and Poles, although in 2022 this figure reached 83%.
