In Moscow, a police officer rescued a pregnant woman, who was stabbed and tried to strangle by her husband. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Investigative Committee on January 4.
A quarrel between a drunken man and his wife in a position occurred in an apartment on Teply Stan Street. The man stabbed his wife in the leg and then tried to strangle her.
Police officers arrived at the scene, but the man began to resist and threatened to kill.
"The policeman, seeing a real threat to life and health, used his service weapon," - noted in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
The perpetrator was detained and taken to the hospital. The injured pregnant woman was also taken to a medical facility. At the moment her life and health is not threatened.
A criminal case of attempted murder and attempt on the life of a police officer has been opened.
Earlier, on January 2, in St. Petersburg, a woman strangled her child and fell out of a window. According to the source of "Izvestiya", the incident occurred at a time when the boy's father was at work. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. A criminal case has been opened.
